Caliterra works hard with the community in the Colchagua Valley to restore knowledge and education to its workers and their families.
We promote to show the world our Chilean roots and the traditions of Colchagua. The measures taken in this regard range from providing safety and professional training for all our workers, support the Public School Santa Victoria de Peralillo within a long-term work plan together with the School of Traditional Music of the same School, and The Promotion of the Wine Route of the Colchagua Valley.
From its beginnings, Viña Caliterra has embraced a sustainable philosophy, under which we are actively concerned to work in a friendly production with the environment and to take care of our natural resources, to preserve a cleaner and healthier environment; And also to bring a more just and responsible relationship with our society and communities, in order to ensure a better future for the next generations.
Viña Caliterra was a pioneer in the sustainable development of the wine industry in Chile, having created a protocol of the practices that had been implemented in its vineyards to reinforce this philosophy, which later served as the basis for the National Code of Sustainable Certification that currently drives Wines Of Chile for the entire national industry.
