“Very aromatic and harmonious”. Those were the words used by Luis Gutiérrez –taster for Chile at Robert Parker’s renowned wine-publication The Wine Advocate– to describe our Caliterra Malbec Pétreo 2015 in his most recent report on the country’s wine industry, called “Chile: Earth, Air, Fire and Water”.

The critic awarded Caliterra Malbec Pétreo with 93 points. According to Gutiérrez, “the wine feels really elegant and vibrant on the palate, with a soft texture, but and attractive structure of acidity. A great Malbec, a new face for Colchagua. Remarkable!”

According to the expert, “Caliterra has made noteworthy progress in the last few years. It is, in fact, as if it were a completely new vineyard, with wines that are fresher, produced from certain plots of their vineyards that were not sufficiently attended in the past”. Luis Gutiérrez also pointed out the work carried out by the winemaker Rodrigo Zamorano, stating that “he has shown great improvement, especially since 2014 and particularly in the 2015 and 2016 vintages. The new Malbec Pétreo is outstanding.”

Caliterra Malbec Pétreo 2015 is available at specialized wine stores.
