At sight, the wine’s garnet-red color of medium intensity stands out immediately, revealing a larger presence of grenache in this year’s blend. It displays great complexity on the nose, slowly showing a vast array of aromas which start with herbal and spicy notes, like rosemary and grey pepper, which give way to sot fruity aromas of cassis and blueberries and are completed with soft mineral touches. Floral aromas, as well as some citric notes, such as mandarins, also emerge.
Its rich and vibrant acidity stands out on the palate, along with its juicy and fresh structure, making of this wine a great blend of Mediterranean style with a long cellaring potential.
