The soil that houses Pétreo vines has very distinctive conditions: clay and argillaceous sedimentary schists with iron inlaid are the components that give life to this special wine of singular characteristics.
Its vines were planted in 2006 (6 ha) at 250 masl on a beautiful hillside facing north 30° west, therefore south exposure and, consequently a cooler place than other sectors in the vineyard.
Pétreo is the name that accompanies the variety, symbolizing the union of the ancestral knowledge and a particular terroir. With an intense acidity, it is a lively and floral red wine, with a unique depth granted by the influences of the terroir.
