For over 20 years, we’ve been learning how each grape variety reveals itself in this special valley. “Tributo” is Spanish for ‘tribute” and with this wine, Viña Caliterra is paying tribute to the amazing land, people and each detail that together form the perfect combination for making a wine of a whole other level.
Every bottle uniquely showcases what Caliterra thinks and does, because it reveals how nature and hard work go together so well in the vineyard. This wine comes from the highest and coolest part of our vineyard, which has soils made from granitic rocks and bits of other incredible stones. All of this makes this wine a unique representative of Caliterra.
“Pétreo” represents the combination of wisdom and respect for a place that is very special for grapes. The wine has a hint of racy acidity and is red and floral - it’s like you’re smelling a garden! And the most amazing thing is that unique depth it has thanks to everything the land has given it. A wine with attitude you’re sure to love tasting!
