During the month of July, Viña Caliterra visited Brazil again, this time represented by its Chief Winemaker, Alberto Eckholt, who, together with the team of Casa Flora, the winery’s importer in the country, participated in a number of activities in the cities of Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brasilia and Recife.

These included lunches and dinners accompanied by tastings of the winery’s broad portfolio with major market customers and the press, as well as field visits focusing on supermarkets where Caliterra has a presence and has positioned itself as a benchmark for Chilean wine in line with its sustainable winemaking philosophy.

In addition, a brand launch event was held at the Porto a Porto offices in Brasilia, where a large part of the wines that stand out for their sustainable philosophy and strong commitment to respect their environment were presented and tasted by customers and influencers.

During the visit, Alberto was also interviewed in Rio de Janeiro by the renowned media Globo for the report entitled: “Caliterra: Chilean wines that reveal the flavors and aromas of the Colchagua Valley to a young audience”, which highlights the trajectory and the way of doing things from its origin that have allowed to achieve different wines from the Colchagua Valley.
